WILL NOT CLOSE AT ALL

This glass is of poor quality. There are odd ripples and bumps on the glass itself due to cheap casting. The problem is that there is NO silicone gasket. I poured water, turned it upside down and the water immediately flowed out. I'm tired of sellers claiming it's a lie. Unless the jar is watertight, it is physically impossible for it to be airtight as they claim. Another cheap Chinese product. You could easily redeem it by adding a silicone seal for $0.01. This square jar is exactly the same as Amazon's "Home Basics" brand square jars, but renamed. Extremely thin stainless steel lid.
