This skirt is SUPER cute. However, a very wide rubber band is small. I ordered a skirt in this style one size larger than usual. I'm 5ft 3in, 130lbs and decided to order the medium after reading the reviews. I'm glad I did. The band has a tie which is for beauty only and I had to wear it high on my waist to wear this skirt. After wearing it for hours I was dying to change it because the very wide elastic was tight. But the length I was PERFECT for a medium size on me The skirt is a bit "flirty" and I felt cute in this skirt. The fabric is nice and also a bit "silky" and the fabric moved well. I ordered it in floral red and it wasn't translucent and I found the color/pattern quite versatile. I would even consider ordering one in a larger size just to be more comfortable. The length could be longer but it's a short skirt so it probably won't be that bad, especially for those who are taller than me. I had to order one each in M and L just to see which is best.
