Review on ASUS VE228H 1920X1080 Back Lit Monitor 21.5", 60Hz, Wide Screen, by Eric Smith

This is a great product which is exactly what I expected from Asus. I'm sure you're concerned about the picture quality and I'm happy to report that this is one of the best monitors I've ever used. Its screen is very bright thanks to its LED backlight (yes, LED is in the name, but it's actually an LED-backlit LCD that looks fantastic, so don't worry) and the picture is crystal clear, no problem with glare. or dead pixels to speak. This monitor also comes with a 3 year warranty and I have a hard time finding monitors that cost more and are worse. It looks gorgeous too, with a curved base, beautiful silver lettering and a glossy finish, it's a delight to look at. And now my few subtleties. The reason you're probably looking at this monitor in the first place was the built-in speakers, which to be honest nobody expected to be that great. They're okay, but they lack the power of real speakers on a stereo or headphones. I've tried both stereo and headphones and found that the headphone jack has a wiring issue resulting in no sound for any of the headphone cups or speakers. I played around with it and it worked in the end, but that really shouldn't be a problem. I haven't researched further whether this is a widespread problem, but I'm sure there are only a few select cases. My final question, which is actually more personal, is that while the glossy finish looks really nice, it does pick up dust and makes it quite noticeable. After all, I would say I would definitely buy this product and recommend everyone to buy it. This product is really good with a few minor issues mostly stemming from personal experience. Thanks to its many ports, this is a very versatile product and should be a good buy for anyone.
