Before her, I used 5Dm3 for a year, so there is something to compare with. I won’t write about technical differences, but about the sensations: - The screen of 5Dm3 is much better than that of 6D, it is much brighter, it does not glare, it is not so easily soiled and does not turn yellow, unlike the same 6D - it makes you turn to the histogram more often =) - Control for me personally is more convenient on 6D, maybe because before 5Dm3 I had 60D and I got used to doing without a joystick. In any case, I don’t think 6D is worse in this regard, it’s just different. - 6D feels that it is smaller than 5D, but at the same time my healthy hand fits completely, along with the little finger - this is a plus, the 60D strained that there was not enough handle for a full grip. - Purely aesthetic - 5Dm3 has a nicer shutter sound) - The final picture, in my opinion, is absolutely the same, in terms of color reproduction, noise, etc. Therefore, if you do not plan to shoot sports or other very fast targets, then 6D is the best - landscapes, portraits, not very fast reporting, etc. Both cameras are very cool, but there is an idea that this is my last DSLR, I can use it for several years, and there most likely mirrorless full frame will take their toll, although I don’t like all these electronic viewfinders
