As my eyes age, I had to switch between reading glasses and sunglasses when I needed to read something with sunglasses on. If you've ever done this, you know it's a pain! I recently discovered bifocal reading glasses and that's what led me to these self-adhesive lenses! If that works, I thought to myself, then I could turn my expensive, decades-old sunglasses into reading glasses! These lenses were easy to stick on, easy to remove and adjust, and they stayed in place! I put them on some old Nikon polarized sunglasses and they worked great! However, I trimmed them a bit along the bottom curved edge so they're not directly in my line of sight. , a touch of sand, sunscreen, etc. Not only did the Optx lenses stay in place, but they were easy to clean with a microfiber cloth. However, some sand has settled around the edges, particularly between the Optx lens and the edge of the frame. But once I got home, I was able to easily wash the sand off with water and mild soap in a much less hostile environment. I'll be getting a few more pairs in a moment to turn my 10 year old Raybans into reading shades! I highly recommend these lenses! Better for the price than buying expensive sunglasses over and over again!
