Failed to load media. I bought these SZICT 20A GFCI tamper proof sockets to replace the faulty one we had. The price is very good so I chose 4 because we are remodeling my son's house and he will need them. GFCI sockets are sockets that we usually find in our bathrooms or kitchens. They can be recognized by two buttons on the front panel: Test and Reset. This is a small electrical device, but its importance to operation and safety cannot be underestimated. I was impressed by how well thought out and well designed these GFCI sockets are. The 4 minute tops were extremely easy to install and are among the quality pieces of electrical equipment. Also, these GFCI outlets have two LEDs: one is solid green while the device is powered, and the other LED is solid red when the device is off. This combo is great because I can see from a distance and immediately see everything is normal (green) or the device worked (red light), another plus is that they are tamper proof so if you have small children, walking around this feature is great. GFCI stands for Ground Fault Interrupter and they are an essential security device for every home. If a short occurs due to water damage or you electrocute yourself, the GFCI outlet will shut off the power to protect you from harm. Very happy with my purchase,
