Edit: I tested this and my headphones with my Bass Mekanik 5.0 CD. It really helped set up the sound, especially the bass. This brings me back to the days of car radios lol. I just wanted to add that there are several interesting settings in the Sound Blaster Control Panel app under the SBX Pro Studio tab including Surround, Crystalizer and My Favorite Bass. The Bass setting allows you to use a crossover and this helps to clean the bass a lot. I set it to 80Hz. Many songs have a lot of mid-bass. A lot of the reggae songs I like sound a lot better when I can fine tune the bass. I set the bass boost to 15%, but for fun it's 30%. lol. / End of edit: Additional testing over time bbl It was difficult to review the Beyerdynamic Custom Game headset, so I had to wait until morning to install and test it. The difference in sound quality is second to none! This breathed new life into my Beyerdynamic and HyperX. It really pushes my PC sound beyond its limits. More volume, less distortion, surround sound, what a transformation. Not to mention the built-in equalizer with many different settings. My only annoyance is that the volume control at the bottom no longer works, meaning I have to open the Sound Blaster app on my PC to change the volume.
