So our sound machine also has a display and buttons that glow blue, right? This thing has a very bright night light that you can easily turn off, which is good, but the constant number representing your settings doesn't go out. Is always. The only way to turn it off is to turn it off. Even at night when the humidity in the room is good, I have no way of turning off the light blue light. I have a small nursery so I have the blue light pointing away from the crib but the only thing you can do is you have access to the buttons to turn it on and off and change settings. So it radiates a little toward the airframe. When I get on the glider at night to lull my LO to sleep, I narrow my eyes as if to say "Too bright!" or LO opens his eyes and looks into the light. This is bad for sleep cycles, especially since blue light is so powerful and triggers daytime associations in the brain. However, the control buttons don't light up at all, so I have to use my phone to see them when I turn it off or turn it up or down at night as needed. It also flashes when the water runs out. Sometimes I just unplug it when I don't think it needs to be started, but even that is a little annoying having to unplug and plug back in every day. The plug is not very comfortable, but it could be worse. So if they fix this issue by enabling the option for sleep mode which turns off all lights or the display and fix the no lights on keys issue, that would be great. You could make something that works almost like a computer screen that turns off all lights or turns off completely after 30 minutes of inactivity. Or do you have an option where people can hit the power button which turns it off completely, not just stopping it from operating but actually turning it off so it doesn't measure humidity or light a display at all.
