I have mild purulent hydradenitis in the armpits. I did some research and saw that aluminum can cause lightning. Therefore, after reading reviews for a long time, I decided on Toms and Lume deodorants. I bought lavender and it smelled very strongly, like medicine. I applied it and it was very sticky. 3 hours later my armpits were wet and I could smell the BO mixed with the smell of the medicine. The shirt is ruined. I didn't even work (ugh!), I definitely don't want to be called a smelly nurse! Anyway it wasn't for me and right now I'm having much better luck with another brand.
