Review on πŸ”§ 21-in-1 Electronics Soldering Iron Kit - Adjustable Temperature, 60W Soldering Iron, 5 Tips, Stand, Desoldering Pump, Magnifier, Solder Wire, Tweezer, PU Carry Bag by Mark Jefferson

Works well but there are no instructions on how to use the different tools.

Whilst excellent value for money it does not come with instructions on how to use the different tips, desoldering tool or temperature control. It seems to work great for the things I need to do at work like small electronics repairs and broken connections. The temperature range is decent, although its setting takes a bit of getting used to, it likes it either hot or even hotter, with no middle ground. The wire stripper tape seems to work well, but since I've never used a wire stripper tube/gun I don't quite understand how to use it. The included tips are a good choice, but again I didn't know what some of the different shapes are used for. All in all, the soldering set is ideal for small do-it-yourselfers or light hobbyists. I haven't used it enough to see how it will perform in the long run, so I might have another comment later. I've given it 4 stars for now because it does exactly what I bought it for, easy job and value for the items included. The only thing that confuses me is that there are no instructions on how to use different tools in the kit. While I'm not exactly a beginner, I'm not a soldering expert either, so I'd recommend another soldering kit that explains the different elements involved. Again this is a great price for what I need.

Pros
  • Soldering Iron & Soldering Iron
Cons
  • High Price
