Surprised! fits soldering iron and iron

I didn't have high hopes for this product when I bought it but found it to be a better deal than a soldering iron from the local hardware store and more useful than a 20w POS without Temperature control now in my toolbox. Today we used the iron for the first time and were just amazed at the usefulness of the whole set! Before I knew it I felt like a kid with a new toy and I had pulled 3 items out of my various cars, ripped them apart, soldered them into khaki aux wires and fixed broken…

Works well but there are no instructions on how to use the different tools.

Whilst excellent value for money it does not come with instructions on how to use the different tips, desoldering tool or temperature control. It seems to work great for the things I need to do at work like small electronics repairs and broken connections. The temperature range is decent, although its setting takes a bit of getting used to, it likes it either hot or even hotter, with no middle ground. The wire stripper tape seems to work well, but since I've never used a wire stripper tube/gun…

Works Good: Welding and Soldering

Before my soldering kit arrived I read some reviews and was a little worried it might not work or be too cheap to actually be useful. . Contrary to these reviews, I got a very nice kit with all the tools I need to fix most of the electronics I need. First, the soldering iron and tips were easy to install. I have a garage door opener where the 9V battery failed and destroyed the battery connector. This was installed on the circuit board. I found a replacement plug on a Revain and needed this kit

Bad advice! - Soldering iron and soldering iron

It's time to talk about this soldering iron set. Almost a year and a half have passed since the purchase. To be honest I didn't expect the product to be top notch for the price and it isn't. With all the different accessories, this wouldn't be the worst product though. - The soldering iron itself works without any problems. Heats up in about a minute, reducing the waiting time during operation. The weakest point is the knob that lets you select the heating temperature. It seems very fragile as…
