There seems to be a million different MTB rear suspension shock configurations, which sometimes makes it difficult if not impossible to use frame-mounted water bottles. I'm not interested in hydration systems in a pack, so after decades of cross-country riding I realized that bottles are what I need. That being said, having to stop a ride to handle a bottle through a shock or a tool bag or both just to have a drink is annoying as hell. This system's magnetic swivel feature eliminates this, allowing you to effortlessly drink on the go. In one trip you can easily master the magnetic closure. Bottle is standard size, easy to squeeze, nozzle works well. The mount has a slider adjustment of about 3/8" on the frame. And despite some brutal trail/downhill riding, it never popped out of the magnetic setting. Great solution if you'd rather drink from a bottle!
