I have just replaced 8 light bulbs in my sailboat with these and am very happy with the results. While aware of the energy-saving benefits, I put off replacing incandescent bulbs with LEDs for three reasons: 1. Most LED replacement bulbs were too expensive to experiment with. For less than $5 each, I could afford to try them. Don't worry about cheaper = lower quality. These "bulbs" are as good as anything on the market and there isn't a single flaw in their kit. 2. I really don't like the cold, harsh, blue light of most white LEDs. The 3000 to 3500K (warm white) range of these bulbs approximates incandescent light, enough to still be mmm. "Clear" still gives a softer light tone which I prefer from incandescent bulbs3. Finally, I wasn't sure if the LEDs would produce the same amount of light. In this case, the 2.5W, 200+ lumens emitted by these bulbs are actually brighter than the original incandescent bulbs, even when fresh. Suffice it to say that these replacement LEDs exceeded my expectations in every way. I would wholeheartedly recommend these bulbs to anyone looking to replace their old, hot, energy hungry incandescent bulbs in their living room and reading lights. Plus, I'll probably never have to change a lightbulb again.
