I bought 10 pieces to convert the cockpit lights on my boat. They are inexpensive compared to alternatives and work great. Nice warm glow, not harsh white or bluish like some of the other bulbs I've bought. Unfortunately, there are several different types of lamps and sockets on the boat, which do not suit everyone. Bought this pack of 10 bulbs for a sailboat I am restoring (1987 Cal 28). It had bulbs all over the cabin that would drop the battery voltage by 0.3 volts if just one of them was turned on. I put them in and didn't see any fall at all until I turned on 4 of them. They fit well and so far they have all worked (all but 2 tested). I have just replaced 8 light bulbs in my sailboat with these and am very happy with the results.
