My skin is extremely sensitive and dry to begin with. Now that the cold, harsh winter months have arrived and the house is warm 24/7, my skin is even more sensitive and drier than ever. My cheeks looked like I had sat outside in the tropical sun for hours without sunscreen. bright red, dry and cracked. And boy do they ever sting and itch! REAL BARRIER Cicarelief facial toner does exactly what it promises. It soothes and relieves my inflamed, itchy, burning skin from the moment I apply it. I prefer to use a small facial sponge instead of a cotton swab. (Cotton balls tend to irritate my skin when inflamed) I just pour some toner onto a face sponge and they gently apply the toner to my face. Since the toner is very watery, it doesn't take long to cover my face. It also absorbs quickly. While my irritated skin is soothed and relieved by this toner, it doesn't fix my skin overnight. With consistent use, I now have less red and cracked cheeks. The itching/burning isn't as bothersome anymore and my terribly dry skin isn't as dry as it used to be. My skin is healing and starting to look and feel good again. Every day using this toner my skin gets better and better! I have had no side effects to this tonic and am SO relieved that I don't want to stop using it! I love that my skin gets an extra cleanse on top of my usual facial cleansing while also being relieved of the various irritations I experience. My skin is beautifully soft after using the REAL BARRIER toner and I plan on continuing to use it and incorporating it into my skincare routine. I also think the cost is very reasonable - it doesn't use that much toner every time and the results are worth every penny spent!
