I have bought this item twice. First time in April 2018. I used it once a week and lasted for two months. The motor kept getting louder and seemed to overheat during use, so I oiled the blades and kept using it. Suddenly it started smoking and the engine stopped. I bought it again in July 2018 thinking maybe I just got my first lemon. The second broke after two uses. The lower cutting blade flew out during use. Actually pretty dangerous. I tried repeatedly to repair the item myself, but the blade kept flying away. I spent the extra money thinking that these clippers would probably cut better and last longer. I've had clippers that I've paid $19 for for the past two years. I definitely do not recommend this product.
