I've included two 3/4 scale images of this outdoor mounted display on the speaker/DMD panel of my GameRoomSolutions virtual pinball cabinet. I did this because there is no room in the closet for this display. I also got the display because I am legally blind and the 7" display originally intended for this cabinet was too small for me to read. The display is heavy being made of glass and metal seems. The only thing that confuses me is that the mounting screw holes are only in three places: two in the top and bottom right corners and one in the middle of the left side, but this panel should be installed inside behind the speaker. / dmd board for a real pinball cabinet or a full size homemade pinball cabinet. When I first tried it the display didn't seem to work. This is because I didn't connect the cable to the black dual row connector which was shorter than the double row of pins on the board connecting the monitor, power supply and button board.long, double row of contacts. After that it worked fine. The menu could be improved as it only stays open for a few seconds and disappears before you can do anything. The LOL image quality looks a bit gray from three feet away and about three to four feet above, but it's certainly not unreadable. This is the quality of many LCDs. It looks best from the air. The viewing angle is excellent. Even though the display is quite large, you can still attach it from the outside with Velcro, although if the display is to be permanently attached with bolts or screws, I recommend using Velcro only for alignment. I will paint mine black or maybe have a local workshop make a frame for it. it is electronics and only the display panel is in the thin area. This came in handy with my pinball cabinet as the shape of this display's case allows for half an inch of space between most of the display and the two speakers, which are mostly covered by this display. Keep in mind that this is a 3/4 scale cabinet, not a full size cabinet. The display is similar in size to a standard DMD coin cabinet, but note that unlike real DMDs, it has a half-inch metal frame around the actual display, so the actual display is slightly smaller than a real DMD. Of course, if I were to install it on a large closet, it would be done indoors. :) Overall, the display quality seems pretty decent. Oh you need to figure out where to install the two circuit boards that come with this display. However, this is not a big problem. lol Another small issue was that the desktop image looks a bit compressed vertically, but it didn't really affect the DMD stream when I resized the image in a pinball game like Pinball FX3. So it still works fine. You need to remember to set the display size to 1280 x 390 so everything doesn't look too compressed or have black bars at the top and bottom.
