Review on πŸ•οΈ Pendleton Yakima Camp Blanket (Oxford, Twin): Unparalleled Comfort for Outdoor Adventures by Chazo Omaha

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Outstanding quality in blankets and throws

Better than I expected. This blanket is heavy, thick, soft and warm. As I am very fond of washing woollens, I washed this duvet in the front loading washing machine on the hand wash setting, wrung it out well and laid it out to dry on the bed. Now it has become even softer and has hardly changed in size - at least I don't think so. Didn't measure before washing, but the label says 90"x 90" now 88"x 84". It's the perfect size for my queen mattress and I'm delighted with the quality and everything that goes with it. Made in Oregon, so in the USA. ! Edited to add: I said I'm very comfortable washing wool, I've been doing it for years even though the label says dry clean only. It's a risk, but I've never had a bad result. I twist my own yarn and also wash handspun knitwear in a front loading washing machine on the hand wash cycle. If you hand wash, whether in a sink full of small items or in a washing machine on a HAND WASH program - note that "FINE" is NOT the same thing and your woolen items will become matted! - Hand washing is much easier, less toxic and softer, which can be desirable for garments. Always dry on a flat surface, not in a tumble dryer. Also note that this manufacturer says "dry clean only" and instead I do not recommend handwashing, just providing unconfirmed information about my handwashing experience. If you use a washing machine and live with other people who might try to help you, put a note on the washing machine saying DO NOT put the clothes in the dryer!

Pros
  • understandable for the old
Cons
