They are great for keeping you warm. I received these as stocking fillers and immediately opened one up to test. They're quite big, which is good because if you need to, you can sit on one of them in the snow to keep your bum dry. Body heat is actually reflected back. I bundled and wrapped my head and shoulders then bent over to cover my body to keep warm and they work great in a pinch. Also, I thought it would be almost impossible to fold them back, but it's not. I stretched it lengthwise and started repeating the original accordion fan folds, and then every 6 or so inches I folded the end down, gave it a little shake, and continued repeating the folds. After about 3 minutes it was folded back up, although it was crumpled and disheveled I did it with it. He slipped back into his little pouch! Looked like new again. Good product!
