An extremely economical way to stay alive in an emergency.

Excellent product. An extremely economical way to stay alive in an emergency. I give them to friends to keep in their backpacks. Everyone is happy to accept them. I'm doing this because my eyes were opened when a friend got lost in the woods in an area she thought she knew well but needed rescuing. She's one of the lucky ones. She now has a back full of survival gear including a pair of Mylar blankets I gave her. .

Pros
  • Camping
Cons
  • Expensive

This is TERRIBLE! Gear up for a little more decent in the big discount network that starts with W! in the HUNTING DEPARTMENT! 1) They are a full FEET shorter than described 2) When I tried to unfold them they ripped! 3) They're thinner than ONE piece of cloth 4) They won't survive a sneeze let alone an emergency 5) when I contacted a company where they've done NOTHING REALLY BREAKING!

Pros
  • Sports and Recreation
Cons
  • Compatibility

I am SO happy with this company I don't have enough words to tell you how happy you have made me. I needed them for a life saving experiment in the poorest country in the world and they sent them in so quickly like they knew I wanted them, a week before I knew they had sold them! Fast delivery. Great price, trust me when I say this because I researched prices a month or more before I bought it. I LOVE this company and will buy many of them if the experiment works. These blankets are used for…

They are great for keeping you warm. I received these as stocking fillers and immediately opened one up to test. They're quite big, which is good because if you need to, you can sit on one of them in the snow to keep your bum dry. Body heat is actually reflected back. I bundled and wrapped my head and shoulders then bent over to cover my body to keep warm and they work great in a pinch. Also, I thought it would be almost impossible to fold them back, but it's not. I stretched it lengthwise and…

Great emergency blankets at a reasonable price.

I started a blanket fundraiser for the homeless. I live in DC and it's been a cold year. My house doesn't have heating, but at least I have a roof. I couldn't imagine how dangerous those who don't even have a roof are and I really wanted to do something. Mylar blankets are a useful and inexpensive way for people like me who can't afford big gestures to help in small ways. I ended up getting donations that enabled me to order thousands of these blankets. I have used several companies and the…
