I liked how slowly it pumps. That's the only positive. HOWEVER, the slow sucking was very inefficient! I was trying to remove detritus from the gravel surface in my shrimp tank. It was SO SLOW compared to my other cheap ones that it leaked a lot of junk. After spending my 25% on a water change, there was still a lot of dirt on the floor, even though I kept stirring it up as I worked. The sand didn't soak up so I don't know how it "cleans" the sand or gravel. The siphon starts easily. It's difficult to clean up afterwards.
