Drive died within two months. While this is unacceptable, I understand that these things happen and it's usually easy to get a replacement from the manufacturer when still under warranty. Not so with LaCie, which has perhaps one of the worst customer services in the world. After going through a lengthy online process, LaCie emailed me a tech support phone number, which I did. Unfortunately the number didn't work. A few weeks later, I still hadn't been able to reach anyone at the company. Do not buy LaCie products! They are just terrible and don't care about their customers.
