Expected performance is not accurate or they say it works

well I should have known the result before I bought it, learned from experience that a good thing doesn't come easy. $70 for better mpg, throttle response, and more horsepower? That may be true. BUT NOT ON THAT CHEAP CHIP on my 2014 Focus SE 5MT! Unbolted my battery at 11am on Saturday, 100% sure no battery connected to the lights and keys in the car. Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. My friend and I really wanted to see good results from this chip, after following the instructions, connect each wire to a specific color separately. Check cable connection. Attachment in front of the air box on the frame. When I excitedly push the paddle, I know I've been a screw (or I could keep telling myself I really got power from this chip, which I really didn't). Test drive 30 miles, 0 performance from this chip. Or it could be some kind of error when I installed it, or that chip is actually defective. (Tip: 1. If you really need performance from a car ECU, you should buy an ECU tuner from a car dealership or a well-known online shop, not a CHIP of something you don't really know what data about faults these are chipping the ecu which worst case scenario can blow up your engine spending 400-600 bucks on an actual ecu tuner from an auto tuner is much better than putting fault data into the ecu like horsepower does case.)
