We live offline and needed a video player that used minimal power. This DVD/CD player fits perfectly! According to our solar inverter, this little one uses only about 15 watts compared to the 62-71 watts consumed by our HP laptop. Good. The keys are a little clunky and the overall feel felt a little "spongy" at first, but we had no issues with our device. Also, the screen is much brighter and the audio is louder than our laptop. We love it!
