These things aren't new anymore, but this iPod arrived, set up, and (on first use) played exactly how it was supposed to. Bad news: it still fails to sync with updated iTunes including modified playlists and added ringtones. Attempting a "recovery" is an option, but with the thousands of songs I have, it takes 2-3 hours. I'll give him more time, but I'm afraid I'll have to bring him back. Pooh!
