This book, number 2 in this series, is an important part of my beading library. As with other books in the Bead Fantasy series, the photographs are inspirational and beautiful. Line art is easy to follow, but be aware that sometimes two needles are needed. Some projects have photos of each step, which is very helpful. Some projects have variations for different pieces of jewelry with the same motif, which helped me a lot in learning how to adapt designs and create new looks. The author's use of color inspired me on my own artistic journey with beads. This book is not for absolute beginners. Nonetheless, I believe the book is a very useful addition to the bead library because as your skills grow, the designs in the book will continue to inspire. The projects in this book range from simple to complex. A romantic flower that seems very complicated, I made it as a brooch for a gift to a teacher. The instructions made it very easy to make. The snowflake seemed very complicated to me. I think it happened because there was no appropriate thread. I have found that some designs work better with nylon monofilament as shown in the book.
