These are the correct dimensions for a Samsung TV pedestal. However, these screws will break (the head will come loose) if you overtighten them with very little force. The threads in the mount hole were a bit stripped so it took a little effort (with one hand, not holding the screwdriver much) and the screw head came loose immediately (I broke off three like that). I went to the local hardware store and bought a screw of the same size and with the same amount of force that didn't break the screw (actually I used a lot more force on the screw). So it's not clear why they are so fragile. They can be used if there are no thread problems, but DO NOT overtighten.
