Tip: In order for this timer to work properly, you must turn it counterclockwise to 60 minutes and then turn clockwise to the Number of minutes you really want to set. I use this cute little timer to keep track of my daughter's schoolwork. I also sometimes use it for myself as a reminder. It is very easy to use if you follow the instructions. It makes a little tick-tick-tick noise when it ends and the chime of the bell as the timer goes up is very loud and clear. I've really enjoyed it so far.
