I needed a bag big enough for my makeup and it's perfect. There is one main compartment with 3 lined pockets perfect for lipstick, mascara and concealer. It's long enough to hold face brushes without squeezing the bristles and wide enough to easily accommodate medium to small sized contour palettes and eyeshadow palettes. The outer material is soft to the touch but has a chemical smell. I'm sure after airing it will be over.
