Eyeguard loupes are an affordable option for hands-free magnification. They're about 4.75 inches (120mm) wide at the front, or 5.125 inches (135mm) including the headphones. The lenses are 2" (52mm) wide and 1.5" (38mm) high. Dark gray metal frame. I can't imagine anyone being flattered by the shape of these frames, but they get the job done. Each pair comes in a clear vinyl sleeve reinforced with hard plastic. The cases are a nice addition and protect the glasses well. I bought the +5.00 magnification to use for detail work as I usually wear +3.00. The working distance for +5.00 is approximately 12 inches (1 foot). A little more and everything will be blurry. That is the nature of high magnification. Take this into account when making your selection. In general, two pairs of glasses with cases are a good set and a bargain.
