Overall happy with this monitor as a purchase, it's pretty good for gaming. I love the settings, the crosshair overlay is really handy for FPS games. Very quick response time as advertised. The downsides for me are what someone else said - the resolution is a bit low for the size. Text outside of games looks slightly blurry. Color calibration and brightness could also be better. It's not bad, but it's nowhere near as good as the screen on my MacBook Pro, for example. The stand is pretty good too, it's heavy, doesn't move, and unlike many monitor stands, it rises high enough to allow for proper posture. I think this monitor is good but a bit pricey for what you get. You can tell this is more of a "mid-range" gaming monitor than the highest end. I'd say if you see it for less than $400 buy it, but it might not be worth paying $400-$500 for it.
