Too bad I didn't find this stepper motor driver sooner. I have previously purchased a set of TB6600 drivers. Yes they are cheap and they work. However, the TB6600 drivers only do 1/32 microstepping. These stepper drivers go well beyond 1/32nd. I only need 1/64 for this project so I installed it in the driver. It was a direct replacement for the TB6600. I didn't have to change the microcontroller settings or redo anything other than a quick connection at the edge of the stepper motor driver. Replacing the TB6600 took less than 2 minutes. I was expecting a smoother 1/64th micro step, but was really surprised by how much quieter and smoother these drivers are. I really want to throw all my TB6600 drivers out the window.
