I was looking forward to giving this tester a good workout since I had a box of batteries that needed testing. Looking down on the tester the display was easy to read and interpret, but when viewing at an angle, the glare made it hard to read. If the display were tilted or had a stand, that would have helped. The unit is noticeably light and is constructed of a hard plastic case without any rubber pads on the back to keep it from sliding. Manipulating the leads to read a battery causes the case to slide around a hard table top. Propping up the case was difficult due to the bottom leads, slick back and light weight. Perhaps strapping the unit to a mobile phone stand might solve the problem. All the ranges worked well. It even read a Lithium AA, 1.5V battery (1.81v – 54mΩ on the 1.5 Alk setting) which surprised me since several reviews said they could not. Overall though the unit works as stated and appears to be accurate. With a homemade stand it could be useful for quite a while.
