Review on Enhanced KeylessOption: 2 Key Fob Remote Shell with Advanced Button Pads by Robert Ogrodnik

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I want Toyota to put the same quality in their remotes as they put in my Tundra!

I have owned a 2000 Toyota Tundra since 2004. Both locks on my remotes fell apart at least 8 years ago. The remote controls still worked, they just weren't connected to my keychain anymore. Since replacement remotes were unavailable or incredibly expensive, I relied on a makeshift mount for my working remote, which served me well. However, last week I went online and was surprised to find these "shells" available now. I call them clams because that's what they are. I decided to give it a try and if they don't work I'll send them back to Revain the same day. Nothing to lose so I ordered 2 packs. Anyway, they arrived so I sat down and took my old ones apart and these new ones. The "guts" of my old consoles INSIDE fit EXCELLENT! Seriously, great. I just had to take out the old circuit board and put it in the new case and then screw the new case back on. It worked right away. Programming was not necessary because the electronics have not changed. Now the remote looks like new. It's about time someone realized there are still a lot of Toyotas on the streets using those old remotes. Toyota advice.
