I bought this to create a fun dessert for our Mexican family buffet. The postman brought it and we literally took it out of the box and pocketed it. It got hot quickly as we prepared the batter using the cookbook provided. They were so easy to use that my 12 year old made a dozen churros himself. We dusted them with powdered sugar and put them in the greenhouse for later. They were very good! This device is compact and easy to store. I have to admit that I've never had a real churro, not even from Epcot, so I can't say if these are the best churros. However, if you're looking for quick churros and aren't fiddling around with a vat of hot butter, this is pretty good. Next time empanadas!
