I received this adapter to wire my TV and NVIDIA Shield downstairs where my internet comes into the house which was previously connected to my router via Wi-Fi. At first I wanted to run a test with short cables to see if I could get the speed I expected, but I decided to just tweak. My MOCA setup is isolated from the DOCSIS cable coming into my house, I only use internal cabling for the MOCA network and OTA transmission via external antennas. I have a splitter located outside in a cable box that splits the signal to an external antenna and a destination on the TV/NVIDIA Shield. After the initial connection, it took about 15 seconds for the MOCA indicator to light up and an instant connection to the TV. I then ran an Iperf3 test from another wired server on the NVIDIA Shield and got the claimed 940Mbps. No fiddling with settings, just plug and play. It has accidentally lost connection twice in the last week and believe me I've narrowed that down to a not-so-tight fit on the RG45 cable. Overall I am very satisfied with this product.
