I give this globe five stars for its overall design. It's small, so it doesn't take up much space. It's backlit with a battery so kids can hold and carry it around instead of plugging it into an outlet. The location of the countries on the globe is just right for elementary school age. I bought for my 7 year old granddaughter. I have found that some of the globes are too busy and have too much information crammed into them. It makes it easy for kids to see continents and countries and learn the basics. The only negative was a slight delay in turning on the lightbulb; maybe a little loose. Even if it seems to be good again now.
