These little bears feel great in your hands. I do not know why. They're not soft or anything, but they're just the right weight, if that makes sense. I gave my little one a handful for the first time the other day and wondered how he would react. He loves her. Apparently, they also feel good in the hand. He and I are both very "sensory" (he was diagnosed with a sensory processing disorder and I think I would have been the same if I had been born now and not in the dark ages before SPD was special). So far we've used them to play with cars and trucks, in groundwater (it turns out they float!), in a paddling pool, and to practice number and color recognition. They have infinite uses in the game. They are just great in every way. And if you lose one - or five - that's okay because there's literally a bucket of them.
