The unit looks like it comes with quick connectors but is as described. It comes with a 1/4" NPT thread, which is flimsy because it's cut from plastic and is easy to thread into a cross, so be careful. I used a double wrap of white Teflon tape. I have two Bought brass fittings which are coupled and removed the compression rings and nuts.You hand thread the fittings on and lock with a quarter turn wrench not to over tighten.I have none.NO leaks.before connecting to the fridge.The water is absolutely clear with no aftertaste Based on what I've experienced so far I couldn't ask for better value for money.
