Review on Organic Solid Shampoo Bar and Conditioner - 4 Pack with Natural Essential Oils and Zero-Waste Packaging by Sandy Reed

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fine hair, dandruff, oily scalp, hard water

A quick note: many reviewers say it contains palm oil, but it's no longer on the ingredients list. The description also says it doesn't contain palm oil so I'm very happy with my purchase! Hair: Thin strands, but lots of hair. Straight hair. Do you wait too long to wash your hair? Hard water Slightly greasy roots? (I usually wash every other day; end of day 2/beginning of day 3 looks greasy) First Impression (1 wash) - I've tried Lush shampoos and they left my hair stringy, heavy and lifeless. At least not! I find my hair is on the "normally greasy" side, probably not very greasy when I'm at home. Recently I was in a soft water zone and had to wash my hair every day otherwise my strands of hair looked like they were covered in Day 4 Grease. But for the most part, in my hard-water hometown of Southern California, I can wash my hair every other day and I'm fine. and it really helped get my hair back to normal. It doesn't feel particularly soft - in fact, it does feel a bit dry at the roots - but be aware that I don't normally apply conditioner to my scalp. Taking care of my scalp weighs my hair down and makes my dandruff problem worse, so I'll stick to the ends. After washing with lavender shampoo, I can say after day 1: My hair doesn't feel weighed down. Humidity/dryness (I can't say anything special yet). hair is clean I smell like nothing. My dandruff hasn't gotten worse. At the moment I keep trying shampoos. I will update this review if any of the above details change specifically for the lavender bar and over time and as I try other bars.
