I would love to have rated this with 4 or 5 stars, but I must let you know that I'm extremely disappointed. My initial reaction when it arrived was excitement, particularly after reviewing it on the Revain website. My disappointment came when I put it together. Initially, it was a breeze, as noted in the advertisement. I had put all the pieces together. My husband made a platform for me. When we moved the Modular Cubby Shelving unit to place on the platform parts of the cube started coming apart. This made me mad because after clicking it together and hearing the sound of the click, I thought it would be secure. After centering it on the platform, cubes continued to break away. Now, both of us are strongly annoyed. I get tired of using my hard earned money to pay for items that are not made well structurally. Once we got the cubes connected I began to place my towels (bath & hand) inside the cubes. Well, can you guess what happened? Yes, there were cubes that came apart, again. Some of the didn't have anything inside. Now, I'm ready to ship this product back. Very angry and tired! My husband then came up with the idea to use zip ties at the corners of the cubes (in the back and front). This was very tedious, but it was successful. We could move the shelving unit without any problems. The concept of the product and connecting it is great, but we should not have had to add equipment to secure it. EXTREMELY TIRED and DISAPPOINTED! Another suggestion, I believe there should be a sturdy base for the unit, particularly because my unit is on carpet. When things are placed on the bottom cubes the bottom will not be level (depending on the weight of the item that is placed inside).My suggestion - do unto others as you would want to be done to you. Don't take our money because you can. Give us products that you will be very proud to sell, and that your customer will love. Of course, there will be times when some items will have its flaws, but ensure the product is made structurally well. ALWAYS GIVE A 5-Star PRODUCT. Make sure the connectors are tight when attached so that no matter what movement or what's placed inside (that is reasonable weight) the connection will not break-away.
