First off, this is definitely not 5 stars for me. The price at about $60 is ridiculous for what you get. Flimsy plastic with steel on the edges, you do NOT get to make all 16 cubes, they only give you half or, even less than half of the connectors you need to build them all. I could only make 10 of the cubes, and they all had to be connected just to even get to 10. I purchased this for my teenage daughter and she loves it! My main concern is that it won't last long. The plastic could get punctured or torn as it's not the strongest material. It also can't hold a lot of weight and it's shaky, so be careful around pets and children, and don't put anything heavy or sharp on it. I just got done putting these together. Took hubby and I about an hour. The entire unit (20 cubes) weighs about 35 pounds. It's free standing and does not require it be hooked to a wall. Some of the doors fitted a bit wonky, but we used a small rubber mallet to ensure everything was snug, then we were able to tap the doors ever so slightly and adjust as needed. We were able to create two 8-cube closets using the panels provided in this 20-cube organizer. It took us a few minutes to figure out the direction in which the plastic connectors needed to go, but it was otherwise a fairly easy setup. I like that it turned out more stable and stronger than I pictured . It wasn’t extremely difficult to assemble but some of the pieces were harder to snap in than others . My only complaints is the doors do nit totally line up . I worked and worked on this to no avail. If you open one door two will often open due to slight overlap no matter what I did . Great product for anything really. Super customizable. Weight limit of about 10 ish pounds give or take. The plastic kinda bends down a bit in the middle if you put too much in but other than that its fine. Shelf came very promptly. The box was heavier than I expected, but quite manageable.The first tier was a bit tricky to put together, because of the rounded corners of the panels they kept trying to shift out of the clips, but that may have just been me.
