Simple, clean-looking, fairly stylish, and extremely versatile. When put together correctly, they're more sturdy than you'd think. We're using them to store shoes in the mud room, to serve as a private "dining" area for our cat, to act as nightstands in a guest bedroom, and even elevate a model train set. With some creativity, you can even hang a light inside a single cube to create a stylish lamp. My only real complaint is that it should have come with more connectors. I think there's enough to create 2-3 structures, but not enough to create any more leaving you with a spare panels that can't be used for anything. My set was missing a few connectors, but the manufacturer promptly replaced the missing ones in addition to a few more, allowing me to make use of all of the panels.
