Let me start by saying that after years of using Garmin gear both on land and at sea I wouldn't even look for another brand. I bought this new unit to replace my aging Street Pilot 2720. The 2720 was the best investment I've ever made. However, this required a new power cord and an updated display. I also want a bigger screen. After much research, the 1350T met my needs. I wasn't interested in Bluetooth since I already had it. PROS: Less bulky and much lighter. (Hopefully this will last as the 2720 was built like a tank). Large display that is much easier to read in bright sunlight. Faster lock to satellites and as a battery option, although I use the mains plug most of the time. Positioning accuracy was good, but the 2720 was better. CONS: Even the 2011 maps are outdated. Do not rely on the speed limit function. This is inaccurate in most cases. In our area, the main street is listed as 65, although most of it is 50. At 1350, the possibility of leading a route for a shorter distance rather than a faster time is eliminated. Also eliminated some of the GPS fees which were good. Conclusion: Good, but not great. I can't say anything about the traffic function because I haven't received a detour warning yet.
