I only bought this scope at zero in my rifles. I shoot from my backyard and use the scope indoors so it has never been used outside, the focus knob broke after the warranty period. I contacted Gosky and after the first reply they didn't reply to my emails. I then gave a negative review. UPDATE First let me explain when this area originally broke, the warranty had already expired after a year but I tried to get a copy of the warranty to send to an insurance company who provided extended warranties through my credit card. I did not attempt to get a replacement or refund from Gosky or Revain, just a copy of the warranty for insurance purposes which was one of the many requirements to make a claim. I didn't get any more messages from Goska after the first email response they sent me, but accused Revain of not acting as a liaison between me and the company they were doing business with. A few months later I sent the scope back to Revain, got a partial refund (from Revain) and forgot about the whole situation. About a week ago I received an email from Alan from Goska about the scope and in his email he stated that my email was found in their trash. He looked genuinely concerned and offered to send me another scope for free, so I accepted his offer with no strings attached. Well, about three days later, a new scope showed up at my door. So I can honestly say I am now confident in making future purchases from Gosky. I feel that the company really cares about its image and is willing to go to extreme lengths to maintain a positive image. At the same time, I feel that they could improve their communication channels so that such situations don't arise. Well, as far as the updated scope information goes, this new model is a bit different from my previous model. The front lens cap is now a rubberized design which I think is a huge improvement over the original fancy cap and is permanently attached to the device so you don't lose it. In terms of optics, I think it's the same as before, but the clarity at full zoom seems a little better. The rear eyecup is rubberized for eyeglass users, and I don't think it was there before, but I'm not sure. The zoom wheel feels a little too tight, but I think it will loosen up over time. Volume seems like a good choice for budget-conscious users like me. Thank you to Alan and Gosky's team who did everything they could to make things right.
