Review on OTC 4611 Battery Terminal Puller by Jeff Wells

It does what it's supposed to and does it well. I'm not sure about the stats, but my shop says over 90% of our customers have never looked under the hood. Unfortunately, that means they don't see leaking batteries starting to form a layer of corrosion, and technology that keeps the terminal damn tight doesn't exactly help. In any case, when terminals are removed they tend to stick to the terminals and the use of acidic cleaners tends to cause a chemical attack which will only further destroy the terminal. This tool allowed me to easily remove the terminals without first cleaning and risking the terminals. Unfortunately, these tools tend to have a secondary function to windshield washer squeegees. It works well on most rear windows, but will not work well on front windows on most 2016 and newer vehicles. I also removed the lever and welded on a 15/16 nut.
