Plugged it into the backplane and then into the Linux system drive. It started to load and then froze. Switched off, tried again and again. Hangs up every time. Tried to use it to talk to an additional drive. Used space on the second drive to expand my LVs on the main drive. Worked fine until I tried to boot again. The download stalled every time with errors accessing blocks on the secondary disk. Unplugged my DVD drive from the motherboard and plugged in an extra drive to the motherboard and all was well with the world. Only, of course, I couldn't access my DVD drive.
