Unbeatable for the price. Given that my son loses 1-2 pairs of gym shorts every year, I don't want to pay a lot of money for them. I was most concerned about the reviews that they were transparent. Not really. If you hold them in bright light, after two coats nothing comes out, and after one - a little. I made him wear white shorts and shorts. Nothing. Doesn't show through at all. When he's out in the sun, you can see some sun through the bottom of his legs, but you can't see his legs. I almost bought them based on these concerns, but I'm glad I did. The $25 shorts the school sells aren't much better.
