Review on Google Pixel 12 3 Inch Tablet Aspect by Mike Bucher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not worth it, at least not yet Valuable

After reading all the reviews about how bad the software that comes with this product, I decided to buy it just to gain my experience. Since most of the reviews are for the base version and latency issues and other behavioral bugs have been reported, I went with the i5 version as I think the i7 is overkill and overpriced for a 2-in-1 that in general is not mature. BUGS ARE REAL, EVEN IN THE i5 VERSION! Let's start with the keyboard (obtained from Google before the release of the tablet), it is comfortable to the touch, feels and there are no problems when switching from a regular laptop (Razer Stealth, Macbook Pro) to this one. Keyboard. However, by default, CAPS is run using the ALT+Launcher key, THIS DOES NOT WORK. So I went into settings and set the home button to the CAPS button and it's still very slow to respond as I usually type emails pretty quickly, hope for future software updates for that. prints when I press the "Caps key" for "I" but instead it lags and doesn't type like I wanted, but the rest of the sentence closes when I press the "Caps key" press again. The touchpad's compression level is pretty hard to press compared to the Razer Stealth or MacBook Pro as I typically use it for Microsoft Office or web browsing. It's also not very responsive and sometimes scrolls too quickly as I barely moved two fingers to scroll. This is the i5 version, which lags less compared to the ones you see in the video, but app compatibility is still a big issue I have with this $1092 two-in-one for this functionality. I think it should fall in the $800 range, including tax, no premium at all (Every 'i' you see, I don't want to waste my time hitting caps lock). However, I will still be keeping my Pixel tablet and hope they fix any very small issues with future updates.
