They are very similar to the Orbeez but slightly different. I bought these as filler for my daughter's Orbeez Crush and they are perfect for that as it's all about crushing. However, they are somewhat different from Orbeez. The early Orbeez are more uniform in size and color. There is nothing wrong with that, but in each bag there was always a couple of pearls, which turned out to be a different shade from the rest. Also, not all will grow to the same size, basically the same, but not all. And these beads break and break more easily than Orbeez once grown. In most cases, some have already broken after soaking a pack, while the Orbeez did not. All in all, for the price, it simply can't be beat. The colors are great and you get a good amount for the price.
